Extend your Monte Carlo permissions to alert actions in Slack and Microsoft Teams

Your team can act on alerts from Slack and Microsoft Teams — set status, assign an owner, change severity, snooze. Those actions can now be checked against the users Monte Carlo permissions, so someone can only do from a channel what their role lets them do in the product.

Enabling this means the roles you've already defined apply there too, without narrowing who's in the channel or who sees the alerts. Anyone without the right role is prompted to connect their Monte Carlo account; if their role doesn't permit the action, it isn't applied.

The setting is account-wide and off by default, so nothing changes until you turn it on. Account Owners can enable it in Slack or Microsoft Teams integration settings.
