Overview
One detection on a table (anomaly, schema change, rule breach); one or more events make an alert.
Used by the metrics of: Data quality
Dimensions
Group by or filter on these names; all dimensions: Dimensions.
| Dimension | Description |
|---|---|
event_item__anomaly_uuid | The anomaly the event belongs to. Table Monitors that flag the same anomaly share it, so it counts once. Empty for events without an anomaly, such as schema changes and job failures. |
event_item__event_created_at | When the event was detected (UTC). Alert counts are dated by when the alert was created instead. |
event_item__event_item_field | Field (column) of the event item; empty for table-level metrics. |
event_item__event_item_metric | Metric of the event item (row count, null rate, ...). |
event_item__event_state | open, system_resolved, muted or timeline; muted and timeline events raise no alert. Older events can have other, legacy states. |
event_item__event_sub_type | Finer event type (freshness_anomaly, unchanged_size, data_added, data_removed, ...). |
event_item__event_type | Event type: fresh_anom, size_diff, unchanged_size_anom, schema_change, metric_anom, custom_rule_anom, validation_anom, metric_comparison_anom, etl_job_failure, dbt_model_error, dbt_test_failure, dbt_test_warning, rule_run_failure (monitor failed to run), slo_breach, agent_*_anom, ... |
event_item__event_uuid | Event identifier; an event has one or more event items. |
event_item__is_alerted | The event raised an alert (part of an alert and not muted). |
event_item__is_data_quality_alert | Alerted event of any kind (threshold anomaly, schema change, job failure, ...), not marked as normal and not a monitor failing to run. |
event_item__is_marked_as_normal | A user marked the event as normal. Anomaly: an alerted event that was not marked as normal, such as a value outside the learned or set threshold, a schema change or a job failure. Marking an anomaly as normal teaches the monitor that the value is expected. |
event_item__is_unmarked_as_normal | A user took back a mark as normal. |
