Hosting & Architecture Options

Monte Carlo offers flexible hosting and architecture options to meet your organization’s security, compliance, and operational requirements.

Whether you’re leveraging our standard SaaS platform or require a dedicated, region-specific environment, each model provides the same level of reliability and data protection.

Today, Monte Carlo can host deployments in US or EU regions, if there is a need for a non US or EU region, please reach out to your Account Representative or [email protected].

Regional (Multi-Tenant) Hosting

Our standard regional deployment is designed for simplicity, scalability, and strong logical isolation.
Each customer’s data and configuration are securely separated through multi-layered access controls, encryption, and tenancy management.

Highlights:

  • Shared infrastructure serving multiple customers within a defined geographic region.
  • Logical data and access isolation between tenants.
  • Available in US and EU regions.

Dedicated Instance

Note: This feature is in public preview.

For enterprises with heightened regulatory or operational requirements, Monte Carlo offers dedicated instances. Each instance is provisioned exclusively for your organization, providing enhanced isolation, configurability, and network control.

Highlights:

  • Physically and logically isolated environment within Monte Carlo’s managed AWS infrastructure where possible.
  • Dedicated resources (compute, database, and networking) - where possible.
  • Greater control over configuration, networking, and access.

Shared vs Dedicated Resources

This instance is a form of what is commonly referred to as "single-tenant" architecture. However, at Monte Carlo, there are some key distinctions around how we provision this architecture.

  • Certain resources, third-party vendor services, and development, build, or analytics tools may still be shared across environments.
  • The underlying cloud and vendor infrastructure may be shared among other Monte Carlo customers or external users, as resources are not necessarily deployed on dedicated tenancy, nor is full isolation supported by all vendors.

Dedicated Instance with Multi-Region Failover (Disaster Recovery)

Note: This feature is in private preview.

For critical use cases and global enterprises, Monte Carlo provides multi-region failover as an additional option for Dedicated Instances. This configuration replicates your environment across regions to ensure resilience and business continuity.

Highlights:

  • Enables failover between two regions.
  • Maintains near real-time replication between primary and secondary environments.
  • Designed to meet high availability and business continuity objectives.
