Dedicated Instance

This feature is currently in private preview.

Dedicated (Single-tenant) instances provide each customer with an isolated instance of Monte Carlo’s platform.

Architecture and Deployment

Each dedicated instance runs as its own managed environment, isolated from other tenants at both the infrastructure and application layers. Monte Carlo provisions these environments within AWS, with optional Azure PrivateLink connectivity available for customers using hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.

While core application services, data pipelines, and storage layers are dedicated, certain underlying vendor systems—such as analytics or telemetry services—may continue to operate in a shared infrastructure layer to support platform operations.

Access and Configuration

Each dedicated instance is accessible through a unique subdomain. Access can be restricted to approved corporate domains, ensuring that only authorized users can register or log in.

Network connectivity follows the same principles as Monte Carlo’s regional environments but allows for additional customization. Azure or AWS PrivateLink can be configured to route traffic securely through private network endpoints instead of the public internet, providing greater control and compliance assurance. These connectivity options can be enabled or adjusted at any time after instance creation.

Feature Availability

Dedicated instances maintain functional parity with Monte Carlo’s regional hosting environments. However, a small number of ancillary or vendor-dependent features, such as Snowflake Native Apps or legacy data collectors, may not be available in every dedicated deployment.

Feature updates are rolled out alongside the main SaaS platform and validated across environments.
