Overview

A table, view or other asset Monte Carlo discovered in a connected source, or an AI agent; asset is its unique id (MCON).

Dimensions

Group by or filter on these names; all dimensions: Dimensions.

Dimension	Description
`asset__as_of_date`	Today: asset quality keeps no history, only the current state.
`asset__asset_category`	table (tables, views and other warehouse assets) or agent (AI agent). Coverage covers tables only.
`asset__asset_dataset_name`	Schema (or BigQuery dataset) of the asset.
`asset__asset_deleted_at`	When the asset was deleted from the warehouse (UTC); empty for live assets.
`asset__asset_discovered_at`	When Monte Carlo first discovered the asset (UTC).
`asset__asset_full_table_id`	Fully qualified name of the asset, <database or project>:<schema or dataset>.<name>, for every asset type, not only tables. Filter `asset__asset_type` to keep tables or views only.
`asset__asset_importance_score`	Importance score between 0 and 1, from the table's reads, users, lineage and how regularly it updates. A number, so it sorts by value and takes a range filter; key assets are at the high end of the score. In the product: a score set by hand is not reflected.
`asset__asset_last_alerted_at`	Last data quality alert on the asset in the last 90 days (UTC), from a monitor active today.
`asset__asset_last_write_at`	Last write to the asset seen in query logs (UTC), from the daily importance scoring, so up to about a day behind; empty for assets without an importance score (no query log activity, or not scored yet), so an empty value does not mean never written. For freshness of monitored tables use the freshness monitors and alerts.
`asset__asset_mcon`	The asset's MCON as a value, to filter on a list of assets (group by the asset itself to get one row per asset).
`asset__asset_project_name`	Database (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks catalog) or project (BigQuery) of the asset.
`asset__asset_quality_computed_at`	When the rows were computed.
`asset__asset_table_name`	Name of the asset without database and schema.
`asset__asset_type`	Type of the asset: `table`, `view`, `external`, `dynamic`, `snowflake_stream`, `wildcard_table`, `temp-table`, `vector_index` or `aiagent`. Tables in the product include all of them except `aiagent`; filter on `table` only to tell tables from views.
`asset__is_asset_alerting_1d`	The asset had a data quality alert in the last 24 hours up to the last data refresh, from a monitor active today.
`asset__is_asset_alerting_30d`	The asset had a data quality alert in the last 30 days up to the last data refresh, from a monitor active today.
`asset__is_asset_alerting_7d`	The asset had a data quality alert in the last 7 days up to the last data refresh, from a monitor active today.
`asset__is_asset_alerting_90d`	The asset had a data quality alert in the last 90 days up to the last data refresh, from a monitor active today.
`asset__is_asset_covered`	At least one active monitor of any kind covers the asset (threshold overrides created from a Table Monitor only while the asset is in its scope).
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_custom_sql_monitor`	At least one active custom SQL monitor covers the asset.
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_freshness_monitor`	At least one active freshness rule covers the asset. The freshness checks of a Table Monitor are not counted here (`asset__is_asset_covered_by_table_monitor`).
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_metric_comparison_monitor`	At least one active comparison monitor covers the asset.
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_metric_monitor`	At least one active metric monitor covers the asset.
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_other_monitor`	At least one active monitor of another type covers the asset.
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_table_monitor`	At least one active Table Monitor covers the asset.
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_table_monitor_only`	Active Table Monitors cover the asset and no other active monitor does.
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_validation_monitor`	At least one active validation monitor covers the asset.
`asset__is_asset_covered_by_volume_monitor`	At least one active volume rule covers the asset.
`asset__is_asset_deleted`	The asset was deleted from the warehouse. Assets of events and alerts include deleted assets; asset health and coverage do not.
`asset__is_asset_evaluated`	At least one active monitor on the asset has run and is not in status Training, Insufficient data or Error.
`asset__is_asset_excluded`	The asset is excluded from data collection at database or schema level. In the product: Include in data collection is off for its database or schema.
`asset__is_asset_freshness_muted`	Freshness alerts on the asset are muted.
`asset__is_asset_important`	Key asset: a table Monte Carlo's daily importance scoring marks as key, at the high end of the importance score. In the product: called important tables ("Important tables without coverage"); a key asset flag set by hand is not reflected here. In the API: `asset__is_asset_important`, `asset__asset_importance_score`.
`asset__is_asset_in_coverage_population`	A table in the coverage population (not deleted, not excluded, not a wildcard part, warehouse not deleted). Coverage counts these tables.
`asset__is_asset_monitored`	This flag is the monitored part: the asset is in scope of a Table Monitor (also the billing flag). Coverage: a monitored table is in scope of a Table Monitor; a covered table has at least one active monitor of any kind. In the API: `asset__is_asset_monitored`, `asset__is_asset_covered`.
`asset__is_asset_schema_change_muted`	Schema change alerts on the asset are muted.
`asset__is_asset_unchanged_size_muted`	Unchanged size alerts on the asset are muted.
`asset__is_asset_volume_muted`	Volume alerts on the asset are muted.
`asset__is_asset_wildcard_part`	Part of a BigQuery wildcard table (a table whose name ends in a date suffix); the wildcard table stands for it.
`asset__is_asset_with_monitor`	In a Table Monitor's scope (`asset__is_asset_monitored`) or with any other monitor that is not deleted, paused and draft included: Tables with monitors on the product's Coverage dashboard.
`asset__is_asset_with_result_1d`	A monitor on the asset ran or alerted in the last 24 hours up to the last data refresh; monitors in Training, Insufficient data or Error do not count.
`asset__is_asset_with_result_30d`	A monitor on the asset ran or alerted in the last 30 days up to the last data refresh; monitors in Training, Insufficient data or Error do not count.
`asset__is_asset_with_result_7d`	A monitor on the asset ran or alerted in the last 7 days up to the last data refresh; monitors in Training, Insufficient data or Error do not count.
`asset__is_asset_with_result_90d`	A monitor on the asset ran or alerted in the last 90 days up to the last data refresh; monitors in Training, Insufficient data or Error do not count.
